Job Description

Position: Oracle Cloud HCM Functional - Compensation

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 6+ Years

Responsibilities:

  • The HCM Cloud Functional consultant is responsible for requirement gathering, configuration, CRPs and functional consulting activities in implementation and support projects.
  • Overall, more than 6 years of Oracle HCM experience in functional roles that may include on-premise and Cloud
  • Should have at least 4-5 years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud implementation as a Functional Consultant.
  • Must have experience working on all phases of a project – Demos/workshops, Requirement Gathering, analysis/design, configuration, CRP, validation, transition, realization, production support, etc.
  • Must have a strong track record of delivering Oracle HCM Cloud solutions, including extensive experience in the areas of business process analysis, requirement definition, and solution design.
  • Experience in at least 3 end-to-end implementations in Compensation
  • Working knowledge of Core HR (Global Human Resources) and Talent Management is required as secondary skills – see the skills detail below. Additional exposure to ORC, Benefits, Payroll / Payroll Interface, Absence Management, HR Helpdesk or Worklife Solutions is preferred.
  • Should know most of the Oracle HCM Cloud modules and awareness of the latest release functionality
  • Must be flexible to travel

Primary Skills – Oracle Cloud Compensation:

  • Workforce Compensation: plan setup and configuration, compensation cycles, budget pools and budget distribution, worksheet design and column properties, eligibility profiles, approvals, compensation change statements, and modelling / what-if analysis.
  • Individual Compensation Plans (ICP): one-time and recurring awards, element and payroll linkage, plan access and eligibility.
  • Salary administration: salary bases, salary components, grades, grade rates, grade ladders and steps, and grade step progression.
  • Total Compensation Statements: statement definition, categories, sources and generation.
  • Fast Formula for compensation: eligibility, default and validation formulas, proration, rounding and currency conversion rules.
  • Data loading and reporting: HCM Data Loader / Spreadsheet Data Loader for salary, grades and grade rates; HCM Extracts, OTBI subject areas and BI Publisher reporting for compensation.
  • Market data and benchmarking, Compensation History, and integration of compensation results into Payroll and downstream systems.

Secondary Skills – Oracle Cloud Core HR (Global Human Resources):

  • Enterprise and workforce structures: legal entities, legal employers, legislative data groups, business units, divisions, departments, locations, jobs, positions and position hierarchies – including position synchronization, which drives compensation eligibility.
  • Person and employment model: person records, work relationships, assignments, employment terms, and the actions / action reasons framework.
  • Workforce record maintenance: hire, promotion, transfer and termination flows, and their downstream impact on salary and compensation eligibility.
  • Approvals and workflow: BPM approval rules, approval hierarchies and the Transaction Console.
  • HCM security: roles, data roles, security profiles and Areas of Responsibility, specifically as they govern access to compensation plans, worksheets and salary data.
  • Configuration tooling: descriptive and extensible flex fields, lookups, value sets, Checklists and Document Records.
  • HCM Data Loader / Spreadsheet Data Loader, HCM Extracts, and Redwood / HCM Experience Design Studio transaction design.

Secondary Skills – Oracle Cloud Talent Management:

  • Performance Management: performance templates and documents, rating models, review periods, eligibility profiles and the end-to-end performance process flow.
  • Use of performance ratings as a compensation driver, including feeding performance documents and ratings into Workforce Compensation worksheets.
  • Goal Management: goal plans, goal libraries, mass assignment and alignment to performance documents.
  • Profile Management: talent profiles, content types, content items, model profiles and profile comparison.
  • Talent Review and Succession Planning: talent review meetings, 9-box analytics, succession plans and talent pools.
  • Career Development: development goals, career interests and role readiness.
  • Calibration and talent ratings, plus awareness of Oracle Recruiting (ORC) offer compensation as an upstream touchpoint.
