Job Title - Oracle CCS Data Conversion Lead

Experience - 8 - 15 Years

Location - PAN India (Remote)

Notice - Immediate to 15 days

Requirements:-

Key Responsibilities

Legacy Data Analysis: Analyze and profile data from source systems to determine the scope and requirements for conversion into Oracle Utilities applications (CCS/C2M).

Mapping and Design: Develop detailed data mapping specifications between legacy fields and target Oracle Application Framework (OUAF) tables.

Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL):Design, develop, and test processes for extracting legacy data, transforming it into the required input file formats (using tools like SQL Loader for staging), and loading it into the target Oracle environment.

Conversion Orchestration: Configure and utilize Oracle Utilities Cloud Services data conversion support tools and batch processes to orchestrate the migration efficiently.

Validation and Reconciliation: Create and execute validation scripts and reconciliation reports (often using Analytics Publisher) on both staging and production data to ensure data integrity and accuracy post-conversion.

Testing and Cut-over Support: Participate in system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide support during the final production cut-over activities.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all conversion processes, issues, and resolutions.

Collaboration: Work closely with utility clients, functional consultants, and other technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Typical qualifications for this role include:

Experience: Proven experience in data migration, conversion, and integration projects, specifically within the utilities industry.

Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in Oracle Utilities applications, including CCS, C2M, CC&B (Customer Care and Billing), and OUAF.

Database Skills: Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database concepts.

Tools: Experience with data migration tools, batch processing, and possibly cloud platforms (OCI - Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage data discrepancies and technical challenges.

Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with stakeholders and project teams.
