Role Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle BRM PDC Developer to join our operations and support team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM), Pricing Design Center (PDC), pricing configuration, and production support.
The role focuses on maintaining pricing configurations, supporting billing operations, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring smooth billing and rating processes across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain charge offers, discount offers, and bundles using Oracle PDC
- Manage pricing updates, versioning, and deployments across DEV, QA, and PROD environments
- Support day-to-day BRM operations including rating, billing, and discounting processes
- Troubleshoot pricing discrepancies, incidents, and reconciliation issues
- Perform impact analysis for pricing rule and offer changes
- Collaborate with business analysts and operations teams for urgent pricing implementations
- Validate deployments through testing scenarios and support UAT activities
- Maintain integrations between BRM, PDC, CRM, ERP, and middleware systems
- Participate in month-end billing cycles, invoice validation, and revenue assurance activities
- Document fixes and maintain knowledge base articles
Required Skills and Experience
- 46 years of experience in Oracle BRM
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle PDC
- Strong understanding of BRM data model, rating pipelines, billing cycles, and discounting
- Experience creating and deploying PDC pricing configurations
- Experience with PCM_OP APIs, EAI/JMS integrations, and BRM utilities (testnap, pin_bill_day, pin_inv_accts)
- Good understanding of Order-to-Cash lifecycle, invoicing, and payments
- Strong Unix/Linux and SQL/PLSQL knowledge
- Experience troubleshooting BRM logs (dm, cm, pinlog, PDC logs)
- Production support and incident management experience
Good-to-Have Skills
- Integration exposure with CRM systems such as Siebel or Salesforce
- Knowledge of discount sharing groups, balance impacts, and taxation rules
- Experience upgrading or migrating BRM/PDC environments
- Exposure to cloud environments (OCI or AWS)
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in L2/L3 production support environments
- Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
