Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Oracle Technical Consultant with 7+ years of expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) RICEW architecture, Integrations, Extensions, and Reporting, coupled with strong functional knowledge across SCM and Finance modules and own end-to-end delivery for large-scale ERP transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Oracle EBS & Database Administration: Own installation, configuration, and administration of Oracle EBS (R12.2+) and Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c/21c) across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD environments. Manage application-tier services, ensure high availability via RAC, Data Guard. Perform capacity planning, sizing, and infrastructure recommendations for new environments.

• Patching & Upgrades: Lead EBS patching cycles — Family Packs, Rollup Patches, Critical Patch Updates (CPUs), and one-off patches. Drive EBS upgrades including Online Patching (ADOP) enablement.

• Backup, Recovery & DR: Design and manage RMAN backup strategy — full, incremental, archive log backups, retention policies. Own disaster recovery (DR) architecture, DR drills, failover/switchover procedures, and RTO/RPO governance.

• Cloning, Refresh & Environment Management: Perform EBS cloning across environments; ensure data masking and post-clone activities. Manage environment refresh cycles aligned to project milestones (SIT, UAT, cutover rehearsals).

• Security, Compliance & Governance: Implement user management, roles, responsibilities, and profile options governance. Ensure security patching (CPU), SSL/TLS configuration, password policies, and audit trails. Support SOX, GDPR, HIPAA compliance audits and evidence collection. Own encryption strategy (TDE, network encryption) and vulnerability remediation.
