We are seeking a skilled Oracle Apps DBA with 510 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2 administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This is a fully remote position open to candidates across India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2) environments, including installation, configuration, patching, cloning, and upgrades.
- Perform database administration tasks such as backup & recovery, performance tuning, and space management.
- Apply Oracle EBS patches and updates while ensuring minimal downtime.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in both Oracle Applications and Database environments.
- Work closely with developers, functional teams, and infrastructure teams to support ongoing operations.
- Manage Concurrent Managers, Workflow, and Forms/Reports Server within Oracle EBS.
- Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of Oracle EBS and database systems.
- Handle cloning and refresh activities for development and test environments.
- Implement and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server and OHS (Oracle HTTP Server) for R12.2.
- Collaborate on automation and scripting for routine DBA tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 510 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA, with expertise in Oracle EBS 12.2.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c) administration.
- Experience in cloning, patching, and upgrading Oracle EBS environments.
- Knowledge of ADOP (Online Patching) and Oracle EBS R12.2 file system architecture.
- Hands-on experience with WebLogic Server and OHS (Oracle HTTP Server).
- Familiarity with RMAN backups, Data Guard, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for performance tuning and issue resolution.
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Cloud (OCI, AWS, or Azure) environments.
Exposure to automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.) for DBA tasks.
Knowledge of Oracle SOA, Oracle Identity Management (OIM), or Oracle Fusion Middleware.
