Job Description
As an Oracle APEX Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining logistics software solutions. This position requires advanced technical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will work on developing new features, improving existing functionality, and ensuring a high-quality code that meets industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to architecture and design discussions, offering input on best practices and solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following best practices for software development.
- Work closely with consultants, project managers, and other developers to deliver solutions that align with client needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring that the software performs reliably and meets quality standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends and propose innovative ideas for improving software performance and user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree is an additional asset
- At least 3-4 years of experience in software development, preferably in logistics or SaaS environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, SQL
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and testing tools.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments and familiar with tools like JIRA for sprint planning and task tracking.
- Advanced communication skills, Openness to feedback, problem solving, analysis, planning, and follow-up.
- Advance knowledge in SQL / PLSQL
- Knowledge in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Nice to have:
- Relevant certifications in software development, cloud technologies, or data security.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle, AWS, Azure).
- Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth and knowledge sharing.
- Dutch language skills
- Logistics- IT or Retail- IT working knowledge
- Knowledge and experience Confluence, Jira, Pivotal Tracker, etc.
- Knowledge in Node JS
- Knowledge of application testing and ability to design, plan and execute application testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality throughout all stages of application development
