In This Role, You Will
- We are seeking a skilled Oracle APEX Developer / Administrator to design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX). The ideal candidate will also be responsible for administering APEX environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability of applications. This role requires strong expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle database architecture, and hands-on experience with APEX development and deployment.
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Write efficient PL/SQL code and optimize database queries.
- Administer Oracle APEX environments including installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement security best practices for APEX applications and Oracle databases.
- Perform data migration, integration, and reporting tasks.
- Document technical specifications, user guides, and support materials.
- Provide production support and resolve application-related incidents.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Oracle APEX development.
- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle database technologies.
- Experience with APEX administration and deployment in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful web services.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
