This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) Developer / Consultant in India.
This role is focused on designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade reporting and analytics solutions within Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) environments. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to transform data into meaningful dashboards, KPIs, and reports that support strategic decision-making. The position requires strong expertise in BI semantic modeling, SQL development, and data warehouse structures. You will play a key role in optimizing reporting performance, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining scalable analytics solutions. The environment is collaborative and fast-paced, with a strong emphasis on remote delivery and client-focused outcomes. Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain OAS/OBIEE dashboards, analyses, KPIs, agents, and BI Publisher reports.
- Build and support semantic models (RPD), including subject areas, metadata structures, and security configurations.
- Translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions aligned with enterprise data models.
- Optimize SQL queries, improve report performance, and ensure efficient data retrieval across complex datasets.
- Work with data warehouse environments using dimensional models such as star and snowflake schemas.
- Troubleshoot reporting issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution of production incidents.
- Support data validation, testing, and deployment activities across development and production environments.
- Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to ensure data consistency, governance, and quality.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) and/or OBIEE.
- Strong expertise in building and maintaining dashboards, reports, KPIs, and BI Publisher solutions.
- Solid understanding of semantic modeling (RPD), subject areas, and BI security implementation.
- Advanced SQL skills including complex joins, query optimization, aggregations, and performance tuning.
- Experience working with Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and enterprise data warehouse environments.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration concepts.
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical reporting solutions.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to performance and data accuracy.
- Familiarity with modern BI tools, cloud analytics platforms, or AI-enabled analytics is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in remote, client-facing environments.
