Oracle Cerner - Insurance + Authorization Analyst

Role Overview:

Seeking an Insurance + Authorization Analyst to support and optimize coverage verification and authorization workflows within the healthcare revenue cycle. The role involves configuring rules, improving prior‑auth processes, and ensuring accurate financial clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize insurance coverage verification and authorization workflows
• Configure and maintain authorization rules, documentation requirements, and system logic
• Collaborate with clinical, revenue cycle, and scheduling teams to reduce delays and denials
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and enhancement of authorization processes
• Assist in initiatives aimed at improving prior authorization turnaround time and accuracy

Primary Skill: Oracle Cerner - Coverage & authorization workflows

Secondary Skill: Oracle Cerner - Rule configuration

Must Have Experience:

Experience with prior authorization optimization strategies and tools

Experience with Cerner applications

Experience with healthcare insurance, revenue cycle, or authorization systems preferred

Good to Have:

Background in Health Administration, Revenue Cycle, or IT is beneficial
