Role - Oracle AIDP Consultant
Remote - India
Independently designs and delivers end-to-end data engineering solutions across BI, AI, and the AIDP platform on OCI with catalog and lineage management of the data — from source ingestion through Silver/Gold schema and AI Vector Schema design. This role owns AIDP workspaces, workflows, and catalogs, applies sound database design practices on Oracle ADB 26ai, partners with BI and vendor teams, and mentors junior engineers. Implements RBAC in all the layers of the data platform, including the database, reporting, and AIDP workspaces, to ensure that data is protected and secured.
- Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data/ML) or equivalent
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a combination of the following:
- End-to-end data pipeline design across Bronze/Silver/Gold and department-level/unified Gold schemas
- Advanced PySpark development, Spark cluster tuning, and cost/performance optimization, including defining standards and design for the PySpark notebooks.
- Manage the reporting platforms, databases, and development environments to support BI needs
- Analyzing and implementing SQL, BI, and AI performance issues in the databases and solving them.
- Establish the data security standards and designs to ensure that all the data platform components and data are secured.
- Database design on Oracle ADB (26ai), including AI Vector Schema, Delta Lake/Uniform tables
- AIDP workspace, catalog, lineage, workflow, and job/notification ownership, including RBAC and security guardrails
- Analyzing the SQL, BI, and AI performance issues in the databases and solving them.
- Integration with Power BI/Tableau at the gateway and semantic-model level, and coordination with BI/security standards (Entra groups, VPD, Data Redaction)
- Knowledgeable in utilizing the platform AI models within AIDP and ADB 26ai platforms.
- Working with external CSP/vendor teams (e.g., Centroid Systems) and OCI provisioning
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to Agile ceremony facilitation
Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ability to adapt to changing conditions
