We are looking for an experienced AI DBA Engineer to design, build and run production-
grade database and applications operations powered by large language models (LLMs). The
role sits where software engineering, applied AI and operations meet. You will build agentic
workflows with LangGraph, trace and evaluate them with Langfuse, and keep them
observable and reliable in production with Prometheus and Grafana. The candidate will
drive database operations modernization through automation, AI-assisted monitoring,
predictive analytics, and self-healing capabilities.
The LLM landscape changes quickly, so we need someone who keeps pace with new models
and techniques and knows how to apply the right ones to real business problems, with a
clear eye on quality, cost, security and maintainability.
Key responsibilities
Design, build and deploy LLM-powered applications, including conversational
assistants, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions and multi-step AI agents.
Build stateful, multi-agent workflows with LangGraph, covering tool calling, branching
logic, human-in-the-loop steps, memory and error recovery.
Instrument AI applications with Langfuse for end-to-end tracing, prompt management
and versioning, cost and latency tracking, and evaluation of model outputs.
Set up monitoring, dashboards and alerting for AI services with Prometheus and
Grafana, covering latency, throughput, token usage, error rates and quality metrics.
Evaluate and select commercial and open-source LLMs for each use case, balancing
answer quality, cost, latency and data-privacy requirements.
Apply prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search and fine-tuning to improve
accuracy and reduce hallucinations.
Build evaluation pipelines and guardrails, including curated test sets, LLM-as-judge
scoring, and safety and content filters.
