Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Optometrist at Tewari Eye Centre, located in Noida. The Optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage vision problems and eye conditions, and prescribe corrective lenses or treatments as necessary. Responsibilities include patient education on eye care, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care. The role also involves staying updated with current research and advancements in optometry.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in performing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing eye-related conditions, and prescribing corrective measures
- Strong communication abilities to educate patients on eye health, provide aftercare instructions, and answer patient queries
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records and managing healthcare tools
- Knowledge of optometric equipment and technology commonly used in eye care practices
- Ability to collaborate well with other healthcare professionals in a clinical or hospital setting
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- License to practice optometry in the state of Uttar Pradesh; certification in specialized optometric skills is a plus
- Experience working in a clinical or hospital environment is preferred
