Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for an Optometrist located in Bengaluru. The Optometrist will conduct eye examinations, assess vision health, and prescribe appropriate corrective solutions, including glasses or contact lenses. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient records, recommending personalized solutions for vision care, and coordinating with the team to ensure an excellent overall customer experience. The role also entails advising customers on suitable eyewear options and educating them on eye health best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of eye care, vision assessment, and corrective prescriptions
- Proficiency in handling diagnostic tools and interpreting results accurately
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients and explain vision health needs
- Ability to recommend eyewear and educate customers on best practices for eye health
- Attention to detail, patience, and a customer-focused approach to care
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree and a valid license to practice as an Optometrist
- Prior clinical experience in eye care, either through internships or employment, is a plus
