Intern Optometrist – Clinical Research

Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Intern Optometrist to support our clinical research activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of optometry, an interest in clinical research, good communication skills, and the ability to work closely with the clinical research team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of clinical research studies and research-related activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support the smooth execution of research projects.
• Assist in monitoring and tracking study progress, identifying and reporting any issues that may arise.
• Support the preparation of project updates, reports, and research documentation.
• Assist with the collection, recording, and analysis of clinical data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with study protocols.
• Support study investigators and site staff in patient recruitment, screening, and follow-up activities.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of regulatory and study-related documents.
• Follow clinical research protocols, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of patient and research data.

Qualifications:

• Freshers or candidates with relevant internship/academic exposure to clinical research are preferred.
• Basic understanding of clinical research processes and guidelines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic data management tools.
• Passion for clinical research and willingness to learn.
