Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist, based in Bengaluru. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing and managing eye diseases, and prescribing corrective lenses or treatments. The role involves patient counseling, assisting in refractive error correction, and working collaboratively with ophthalmologists and healthcare staff to ensure high-quality patient care. Candidate must also educate patients about eye care and help address patient concerns or questions related to vision health.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing vision conditions, and determining proper corrective measures
• Expertise in using and maintaining optometric tools and equipment
• Proficiency in understanding and managing ocular diseases and recommending appropriate treatment plans
• Excellent patient counseling and communication skills to guide patients on eyewear, lenses, and overall eye health
• Collaborative mindset to work effectively with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Optometry from a recognized institution
• Ability to work with individuals of diverse backgrounds and demonstrate compassion and professionalism
• Experience in pediatric eye care or advanced optometric treatments is a plus
