Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Coimbatore for an Optometrist. The Optometrist will primarily be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing vision issues, and providing appropriate prescriptions. They will assist customers in selecting eyewear, ensuring proper fit and comfort, and guide them on lens and frame options. Additionally, they will monitor customer eye health, provide education on eye care, and collaborate with other team members to enhance the overall customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing refractive errors, and prescribing corrective lenses
- Strong knowledge of optometric equipment and procedures
- Ability to provide outstanding patient care, guide customers on frame and lens selection, and recommend solutions tailored to individual needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and educate them on eye health
- Team-oriented mindset to collaboratively work with retail staff and other team members to ensure superior customer experiences
- Relevant degree or diploma in Optometry or Vision Science
- Prior professional experience as an Optometrist is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high clinical standards
