We are seeking a qualified and patient-centric Optometrist to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in comprehensive eye examinations, pre- and post-operative care, and supporting advanced ophthalmic procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive eye examinations including refraction and preliminary ocular assessments
- Assist ophthalmologists in OPD, diagnostics, and pre-operative evaluations
- Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests such as OCT, Visual Field Analysis, Topography, Biometry, and Fundus Photography
- Counsel patients regarding treatment plans, procedures, and post-treatment care
- Assist in LASIK, Cataract, ICL, and other refractive surgery work-ups
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to clinical protocols
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, infection control, and patient safety guidelines
- Coordinate effectively with doctors, nurses, and OT staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Qualifications & Requirements- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Optometry
- 13 years of experience in a hospital or eye care setup preferred
- Freshers with strong clinical skills may apply
- Hands-on experience with ophthalmic diagnostic equipment
- Good communication skills with a patient-friendly approach
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a high-volume, advanced eye care environment
