Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and dedicated Optometrist to join our clinical team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting eye examinations, assisting in diagnosis, and ensuring high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive eye examinations, including vision testing and refraction
- Operate diagnostic equipment such as Autorefractor (AR) and Non-Contact Tonometer (NCT)
- Take detailed patient history and maintain accurate records
- Assist in diagnosing and managing common eye conditions
- Educate patients on eye care, vision correction, and contact lens usage
- Support ophthalmologists during consultations and procedures
- Ensure proper maintenance and sterilization of equipment
- Handle OPD flow and assist in clinical coordination
Requirements- Strong knowledge of refraction, AR, NCT, and vision testing
- Good communication and patient-handling skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in clinical work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a professional attitude
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Optometry
- 1–3 years of experience in a hospital or clinic (preferred)
- Freshers with strong practical knowledge can also apply
