Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role based in Gurugram. The Optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity, detect eye abnormalities, and provide appropriate recommendations for corrective measures. Responsibilities include prescribing corrective lenses, diagnosing and managing eye diseases, performing pre- and post-operative assessments in collaboration with ophthalmologists, and educating patients on eye care and preventive measures. The role also involves maintaining accurate patient records and staying updated with the latest advancements in eye care practices.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in conducting routine and advanced eye examinations, including the use of diagnostic equipment and interpretation of results.
  • Comprehensive understanding of eye conditions such as refractive errors, cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal disorders, along with treatment and management plans.
  • Skill in prescription of corrective lenses, contact lens fittings, and custom visual correction solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Meticulous attention to detail for maintaining accurate patient records and managing clinical documentation.
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree and licensure to practice optometry in India.
  • Previous experience in an ophthalmic or clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and demonstrate a compassionate approach to patient care.
