Optometrist cum OT Technician / Assistant

Dr. Kervi Eye Hospital is an eye hospital in Banswara (Rajasthan), led by Dr. Kervi Mehta (Phaco Eye Surgeon). We offer OPD, cataract, minor and major eye surgeries, pharmacy, and optical services.

The role

We need one person who can handle both OPD optometry work and assist in the Operation Theatre.

In OPD:

• Vision testing, refraction, and spectacle prescriptions
• Operating autorefractometer/keratometer, NCT (tonometer), lensometer, and slit lamp
• Patient workup before the doctor's consultation
• Helping patients with spectacle and lens selection at the optical counter

In OT:

• Preparing OT, instruments, and sterilisation
• Assisting the surgeon during cataract (phaco/SICS) and minor procedures
• Pre-op and post-op patient care
• Maintaining OT records, consumables, and biomedical waste segregation

Requirements

• B.Optom / Diploma in Optometry / Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistant (or equivalent)
• 1–2 years of experience in an eye hospital preferred; OT exposure is a big plus
• Freshers with strong basics are welcome to apply
• Good communication in Hindi, Wagdi (local language), and English
• Local candidates from Banswara and nearby preferred
• Willingness to support eye screening camps (optional; keep this only if you plan to run camps)

Timings: 10 AM - 8 PM

Full-time | 1 opening
