Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role based in Kolkata. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction, vision tests.

Qualifications

• Licensed Optometrist with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Optometry from a recognized institution.
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye examinations, refraction, and basic diagnostic procedures.
• Strong knowledge of lenses, frames, coatings (including blue-light protection), and vision correction options.
• Effective communication and customer counseling skills, with the ability to explain clinical information in simple terms.
• Ability to work collaboratively with retail, operations, and customer service teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented approach to maintaining accurate clinical documentation and following ethical practice standards.
• Comfort using digital tools and practice management or record-keeping systems; willingness to learn new technologies.
• Prior experience in a retail eyewear, optical clinic, or eye care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
