Job Description

Responsibilities

Conduct eye examinations to assess vision and detect signs of ocular diseases.
Perform refraction, retinoscopy, and other tests to determine the right prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses.
Provide advice to patients on proper eye care techniques and options for treatment.
Monitor and manage ocular conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and dry eyes.
Maintain detailed patient records and documentation of the provided care.

Requirements

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Optometry or a related field.
Valid license to practice as an Optometrist in Karnataka.
Strong knowledge and experience in refraction, retinoscopy, and other relevant diagnostic tools.
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex medical information in an understandable manner.
Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Customer service orientation and compassion towards patients.
