Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct eye examinations to diagnose vision problems and other eye conditions.
  • Perform tests including refraction, retinoscopy, and visual field testing.
  • Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as necessary.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care to patients undergoing eye surgery.
  • Educate patients on proper eye care and answer any questions they may have.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Optometry or related field.
  • Valid optometry license in the state of Karnataka.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in refraction, retinoscopy, and other diagnostic tests.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Additional Skills (if Applicable)

  • Knowledge of advanced diagnostic technologies in optometry.
  • Experience with pediatric optometry.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages for better patient communication.
