We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Optical Sales Representative with fitting expertise to join our team.

Role Overview:

As an Optical Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to sell our eyewear products to farmers. In addition to sales, you will utilize your expertise in optical fittings to ensure customers receive glasses that fit comfortably and provide optimal vision correction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong sales background in optical products, and proficiency in general fittings of optical glasses.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales strategies to target farmers and agricultural communities.

Prospect and acquire new customers by networking, cold calling, and attending agricultural events and trade shows.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular communication and follow-up.

Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of Eye Mantra Opticals eyewear products.

Provide personalized recommendations and assistance to customers in selecting eyewear products that meet their needs and preferences.

Utilize your expertise in general fittings of optical glasses to ensure proper fit, comfort, and vision correction for customers.

Process sales orders accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.

Coordinate with the optical lab and other departments to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of customer orders.

Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.

Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics as set by the company.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in optical sales or a related field is required.

Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on building and maintaining customer relationships.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with farmers and understand their unique needs.

Proficiency in general fittings of optical glasses, including knowledge of frame styles, lens types, and fitting techniques.

Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to close sales and overcome objections.

Familiarity with vision insurance plans and reimbursement processes is a plus.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel locally to meet with customers and attend events as needed.
