We are looking for an Ops Excellence Program Manager to lead the operational excellence charter for On-Package Ads (OPA), with a focus on campaign execution, process automation, quality control, and cost optimization across all fulfillment networks (SSD, Core, and QC). This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of Program Management, Product Operations, and Operational Excellence.
Key job responsibilities
The role will be responsible for:
1. Campaign Management & Execution: Own end-to-end campaign lifecycle management across different packaging formats - including targeting execution and SLA adherence across all Amazon IN networks. Drive continuous improvement in lead times and campaign run-day efficiency to consistently meet or exceed contracted SLA targets.
2. Box Configuration & Annotation Operations: Manage box configuration workflows and maintain operational health - tracking activation rates, identifying dormant annotations for decommissioning, and reducing configuration turnaround times. Incorporate annotation quality and activation tracking into standard operational reviews.
3. Proof-of-Execution (POE) & Automation: Own the POE delivery process and drive its evolution toward an automated, structured workflow. Reduce POE turnaround timelines, eliminate manual errors, and build an auditable evidence trail for compliance and performance reporting. Identify and drive automation initiatives across campaign delivery and operational workflows.
4. Quality Control: Establish and enforce quality control mechanisms for packaging operations - including visual placement guides, pre-production sign-off checklists, and defect tracking. Partner with L&D to develop and deploy brand-safe placement protocols and training programs. Implement pre-shipment quality gates to prevent stakeholder escalations.
5. Campaign Performance & Targeting: Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics across all networks. Drive the shift toward precision targeting (category and pin-code) and track targeting mix, campaign run-day performance, and execution velocity. Deliver data-informed recommendations to optimize campaign scheduling and resource deployment.
6. Cost Optimization & Campaign Clubbing: Lead cost optimization analysis through campaign clubbing logic - consolidating campaigns onto shared packaging runs to reduce per-unit shipment costs. Partner with Finance and Packaging teams to model cost-per-campaign scenarios under clubbing vs. standalone execution. Build a clubbing decision framework for prospective campaign scheduling and report savings at quarterly business reviews.
7. Business Reviews & Operational Forums: Contribute to and drive content for key business review forums - including MBRs, WBRs, and Ops reviews. Own the operational narrative by preparing performance decks, SLA dashboards, and improvement trackers. Surface risks, blockers, and opportunities proactively in leadership forums and ensure alignment across cross-functional stakeholders on execution priorities and program health.
- Experience building high-velocity ad products
- Experience working cross functionally to implement and optimize workflows
- Experience in advertising solutions including sales, ad operations, and online marketing
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience engaging, verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or advertising campaigns from concept to completion
