Job Description

Seeking a dependable Application Support & DevOps Engineer to safeguard and enhance Category A, mission-critical Core Banking applicationswhere any downtime directly impacts customer services. You will provide L3 support for legacy Microsoft stack workloads on Windows Server while driving automation, reliability, and release excellence across environments. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with IIS , Windows Services , legacy .NET ecosystems , and GitLab (SCM + CI/CD) , with a proactive, improvement-oriented mindset.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • Proven L3 application support experience in Windows Server environments (non-negotiable).
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of:
    • Windows Server administration
    • IIS configuration & tuning
    • Windows Services lifecycle and troubleshooting
    • Legacy Microsoft ecosystems (e.g., .NET 2.0/3.5, IIS 7.0)
  • Windows patching and update management at scale.
  • ITIL process familiarity; practical experience with major ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Exposure to AWS and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • DevOps fundamentals : CI/CD, version control, scripting, environment promotion.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code and automation: Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK, CloudFormation.
  • GitLab and GITHUB (SCM + CI/CD) hands-on experiencepipelines, runners, artifacts, approvals.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to thrive in production-critical settings.
  • Flexibility to support post-business hours deployments, weekends, public holidays, and on-call rotations.
