Job Opportunity: HSE Manager

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• BE/B. Tech (Electrical/Mechanical/Environmental) or Bachelor's/Master's Degree.
• Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety.
• Certified Lead Auditor ISO45001.
• Diploma in Fire Safety.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years experience in Health and Safety Systems Management & Process Improvement concepts.
• Experience working with industrial occupational work safety.

Job Purpose:

• To foster the development and maturity of Sodexo's Safety Culture and Safe Behaviors by demonstrating safety leadership and embedding the Group 3 Checks for safety initiatives.
• Ensure implementation of APAC Health and Safety processes across all sites, ensuring legal compliance in the respective country/area.
• Ensure operationally safe and compliant work solutions for teams delivering services.
• Identify gaps or omissions in policy/procedures and assist in developing HSE solutions for clients.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular HSE audits and verify actions from sites.
• Report incidents in Salus, investigate and review corrective actions.
• Conduct staff training on basic safety practices.
• Implement and communicate safety alerts to all sites.
• Ensure prequalification and authorization of new subcontractors.
• Participate in client meetings during HSE audits and highlight key risks.
• Mobilize and support new site setups with HSE management plans and inductions.
• Verify all staff and subcontractors are suitably trained and certified.
• Ensure safety standards are maintained and continually improved.
• Maintain safety records, certificates, and statutory notices.
