Field Sales Executive
Job Summary (Field Sales Executive)
Responsible for traveling to B2B hotels for generating sales by meeting dairy plants, paneer/cheese manufacturers, and food processing units to sell high-value machinery such as coagulation systems, pressing systems, micro-perforated moulds, and cheese processing lines.
The role involves identifying new clients, promoting machinery solutions, and closing deals for both turnkey and standalone / B2B sales equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Business Development
Identify and visit potential clients: - Dairy plants / Paneer cheese / manufacturers / Milk cooperatives / Food processing industries
Generate new leads through: - Field visits / Industrial areas / Referrals and networks
Present company products: - Paneer making machines / Cheese processing lines / Milk processing plants
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Understand client requirements (capacity, budget, automation level)
Suggest suitable machinery or complete plant solutions
Build long-term relationships with plant owners, purchase managers, and technical heads
Follow up regularly until deal closure
- Site Visits Technical Coordination
Conduct site inspections for installation feasibility
Coordinate with: - Engineering team / Design team / Share client requirements for customized solutions
Prepare and explain quotations / Handle price negotiations and commercial discussions / Close deals and convert inquiries into orders
- After-Sales Support Coordination
Coordinate installation and commissioning / Ensure customer satisfaction / Support in AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) sales
Maintain daily visit reports / Update CRM with leads, follow-ups, and status / Provide market feedback (competitors, pricing, demand trends)
Dairy companies / Paneer manufacturers / Cheese producers / Sweet food processing units / Startups entering dairy processing
- Required Skills
- Strong communication negotiation skills
- Basic technical understanding of dairy processes
- Ability to explain machinery and production flow
- Good networking relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- Educational Qualification
Graduate with relevant sales experience in paneer machinery/industrial products
- Experience
- 1-3 years in same industries:
- Industrial sales
- Dairy equipment sales (preferred)
- FMCG machinery / food processing equipment
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of client visits per day week
- Leads generated
- Conversion ratio
- Sales revenue achieved
- Customer retention
