About The Opportunity

A fast-growing healthcare provider in India, we deliver advanced, patient-centered eye care services across urban and semi-urban centers. Our clinics leverage modern diagnostic tools and minimally invasive surgical techniques to treat cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and refractive disorders—empowering patients with clear vision and long-term ocular health. Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose ocular pathologies, and prescribe evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Conduct routine and complex surgical procedures including cataract surgery (Phacoemulsification), LASIK, and glaucoma interventions.
  • Manage pre- and post-operative care, ensuring patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.
  • Collaborate with optometrists, orthoptists, and support staff to streamline patient flow and maintain clinical standards.
  • Stay current with advances in ophthalmology by attending CMEs, reviewing journals, and implementing best practices.
  • Participate in community screening camps and public awareness initiatives to expand access to eye care.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must-Have
  • FMGE/NMC registered
  • DNB/MD Ophthalmology or equivalent degree
  • Phacoemulsification certification
  • Hands-on experience with OCT, Fundus Photography, and Visual Field Analyzers
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and managing glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and corneal disorders
  • Current ACLS/BLS certification
  • Experience in LASIK or refractive surgery (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Fluency in English and regional language (e.g., Hindi, Tamil, Telugu)
  • Preferred
  • Fellowship in Vitreo-Retina or Cornea
  • Experience with Femtosecond Laser-Assisted Cataract Surgery (FLACS)
  • Teaching or academic experience in ophthalmology residency programs
