As an Operations Team Lead – Payments, Revenue & POD, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations across payment processing, vendor reconciliation, and POD management for marketplace operations. Your primary objective will be to ensure timely execution, accuracy, and process adherence, while coordinating with internal teams and external partners. You will lead a small team and drive operational efficiency through structured follow-ups and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
You will own and manage execution of the following processes:
Initiation and tracking of advance, balance, and interim payments
Payment holds management, reconciliation, and resolution
Buffer payments tracking and reconciliation
Vendor ledger management – preparation, reconciliation, and upkeep
Follow-ups with LSPs for disputed trips (damage/leakage/shortage) and closure
Handling supplier desk escalations and ensuring timely resolution
Tracking and closure of lost POD / delayed hPoD submissions
POD operations management:
On-ground follow-ups for pending PODs
hPoD collection planning and execution (runners / telecalling)
Pendency tracking and supplier follow-ups
POD audits and dispatch coordination
Team & Stakeholder Management
Lead and guide a small team (2–5 members) for daily operations
Coordinate with finance, supply, and vendor partners for issue resolution
Ensure adherence to SOPs, SLAs, and compliance standards
What We're Looking For
3–5 years of experience in operations, payments, reconciliation, or supply chain ops
Prior experience in logistics / marketplace / fintech ops is preferred
Strong execution and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of reconciliation, vendor management, and operational workflows
Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
Basic proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and ops tools
Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Exposure to POD management / logistics operations
Experience in handling vendor escalations or reconciliation processes
Prior experience in leading small teams or mentoring juniors
Education
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
