How will you make an impact in this role
Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.
This position shall be responsible for the following:
Process and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Perform reconciliation of supplier payment invoices and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals for invoices.
Process payments, including checks and wire transfers, while maintaining proper documentation.
Investigate and resolve payment-related issues, responding to vendor inquiries promptly.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.
Assist in month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of accounts payable processes.
Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and company policies related to supplier payments.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to accounts payable transactions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as business users, controllership, tax, capabilities, technology & other stakeholders for process & system enhancements.
Establish and maintain relationships with business users, addressing inquiries and resolving payment-related issues.
Take accountability and manage multiple priorities.
Clear understanding of inputs, processes, controls, flows, metrics, risks, SLA and outputs of the AP process area.
Participate in standardization and continuous improvement initiatives as well as other business partner initiatives.
Work on projects and initiatives.
