Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead our testing initiatives for multi-market customer portals within the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in quality assurance, translating business requirements into effective testing strategies, and ensuring compliance and performance through comprehensive test planning and execution. This role requires strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with a focus on both automation and manual testing.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end testing process, including functional, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
- Translate business requirements into robust testing strategies that ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Manage defect tracking and resolution processes, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with development, product management, and operations teams to enhance customer experience.
- Implement and oversee automation testing frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment on testing objectives.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, quality metrics, and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testing team members.
Mandatory Skills:
- 8-10 years of experience in quality assurance and testing, specifically within the insurance domain.
- Strong expertise in Network Operations (NOC) and its relevance to testing strategies.
- Proven experience in both Manual Testing and Automation testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
- Excellent defect management skills and experience with defect tracking tools.
- Strong leadership and Stakeholder Management and Communication capabilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Performance Testing tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices.
- Certifications in quality assurance or testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
- Experience in working with multi-market customer portals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven ability to deliver outcome-driven solutions that enhance customer experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
