Infusory is a fast-scaling edtech company transitioning from a founder-led setup into a professionally run organisation. We are looking for an Operations Manager who can become the execution engine of the company by driving operational discipline, cross-functional coordination, and business execution.
This role reports directly to the CEO (transitioning to the VP Operations once hired) and will own the company's operating rhythm — including leadership reviews, business reviews, planning cycles, operational trackers, and escalation management.
This is not a pure admin, HR, or finance role. It is a high-ownership execution role designed for someone who wants to grow into a leadership position by building and running the company's operating system.
The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, builds structure from chaos, and takes ownership without waiting for instructions.
Key Responsibilities
Run weekly leadership reviews, monthly business reviews, and quarterly planning cycles.
Maintain action trackers, decision logs, and escalation trackers.
Ensure accountability and follow-through across departments.
Surface blockers, risks, and dependencies proactively.
Track open positions, candidates, interview stages, offers, and joining dates.
Coordinate onboarding processes and onboarding checklists.
Drive 30/60/90-day review processes.
Maintain recruitment and workforce planning trackers.
Maintain employee records, attendance, leave tracking, and HR documentation.
Support KRA/KPI tracking and appraisal calendars.
Coordinate onboarding and exit processes.
Ensure role clarity and lightweight policy documentation.
Monitor monthly expenses and budget vs actual tracking department-wise.
Track vendor payments and operational expenses.
Maintain burn visibility and event budget tracking.
Support operational finance reporting.
Maintain CRM hygiene and lead ownership discipline.
Monitor deal stages, renewals, and event lead follow-ups.
Prepare and maintain weekly sales dashboards.
Coordinate sales operations workflows.
Track product roadmaps and sprint commitments.
Ensure launch readiness and demo preparedness.
Coordinate with product and tech teams to identify and resolve blockers.
Coordinate event planning and execution for industry events, including DIDAC, GESS, GITEX, ISE, and Bett.
Manage booth readiness, demo coordination, lead capture, and CRM tagging.
Ensure post-event follow-up workflows and ROI tracking.
Organise company documentation, contracts, compliance records, and operational metrics.
Maintain investor update packs and operational reporting systems.
Ensure data room readiness for fundraising and strategic discussions.
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Business, Engineering, or related fields preferred).
MBA is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Operations, Project Management, Business Analysis, or similar roles.
Experience working in fast-scaling or early-stage environments is highly preferred.
Strong experience in operations, project management, or business analysis within high-growth environments.
Advanced spreadsheet and dashboard proficiency (Google Sheets/Excel — formulas, pivots, dashboards).
Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, CRM systems, Zoho Desk, HRMS, or similar platforms.
Active AI fluency (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar tools) for automation, productivity, and problem-solving — non-negotiable.
Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to coordinate and push stakeholders effectively.
Working knowledge of HR operations, finance basics, sales processes, and compliance.
Comfort working with ambiguity, incomplete data, and evolving systems.
Strong ownership mindset with execution-focused thinking.
Experience scaling teams and systems from early-stage growth is a plus.
Experience with the Zoho ecosystem (CRM, People, Books, Desk).
Exposure to project management tools like ClickUp, Asana, Notion, Linear, or Jira.
HRMS and event operations experience.
Background in edtech, B2B SaaS, or hardware-software hybrid businesses.
Young, ambitious, and leadership-oriented.
Believes AI tools and LLMs are productivity partners, not optional tools.
Takes ownership proactively and consistently.
Can build operational systems from scratch in messy environments.
Brings structure, clarity, and accountability to growing teams.
ESOP eligibility after 1 year based on performance milestones.
Direct access to the CEO, CTO, CBO, and department leads.
Tooling budget for recommending and implementing operational systems.
Clear growth path into Customer Success, Sales Ops, or People Ops leadership within 12–18 months based on impact.
Opportunity to become the second-in-command to the VP Operations role once established.
Junior Operations support planned in Q3 FY27 based on performance.
Authority to enforce operational trackers, document decisions, and escalate blockers across the organisation.
