Operations Manager

Role Overview

Tocco works with home kitchens across India to produce small-batch, preservative-free regional foods. We are building a high-quality, scalable community kitchen ecosystem rooted in trust, hygiene, and consistency.

We're looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple Tocco kitchen clusters. This is a field-heavy role that combines kitchen supervision, process implementation, audits, and on-ground problem solving. You will also support basic office and procurement tasks when required.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operational work, isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, and wants exposure to building production systems from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site visits to Tocco partner kitchens - within Kerala and outside of Kerala
• Oversee daily production activities and adherence to timelines
• Implement and monitor SOPs, hygiene standards, and best practices, Quality Control
• Perform routine audits for quality, cleanliness, and process compliance
• Identify gaps and support kitchens in improving efficiency and consistency
• Coordinate with founders and central team on production updates
• Support scaling of community kitchens and onboarding of new kitchens
• Assist with procurement, basic admin work, and local errands as and when required

Requirements

• Minimum 02 years of experience in production/ manufacturing roles
• Comfortable with remote field work and operational work
• Strong attention to detail and process discipline
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple locations
• Willingness to handle mixed responsibilities (operations + office support)

Language Skills

• English & Malayalam – mandatory
• Hindi (spoken) – good to have
