Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Visakhapatnam for an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will oversee and optimize the organization's day-to-day operations, including managing budgets, coordinating partnerships, and improving operational processes. The role involves collaborating with internal departments, ensuring project delivery, and maintaining high levels of efficiency and accountability across all activities. The Operations Manager will also play a key role in developing strategies to enhance program impact and ensure alignment with TAP's mission and standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee operations and ensure effective implementation of programs
  • MBA/MSW
  • 6–12 years in the social sector, preferably in medical social work with exposure to Disability sector. • 3 - 6 years in a leadership role managing operations and teams of an NGO.
  • Medical / Health care/ NGO Backgrounds are Preferred

Core Skills (Must-Have):

• Operations management & program execution

• Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills

• Problem-solving and multitasking ability

• Financial literacy: budgeting, proposal preparation, reporting

• Complete knowledge of CSR guidelines and associated compliance requirements

• Excellent communication skills in English, Telugu, and Hindi

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Support the Head of Organisation in developing and executing strategic plans.

2. Prepare budgets and financial proposals for new and ongoing projects.

3. Monitor program implementation, track KPIs, and recommend improvements.

4. Ensure alignment of programs with organisational vision, mission, and sponsor MoUs.

5. Lead impact assessment studies, including data collection and analysis.

6. Supervise staff, identify training needs, recommend capacity-building initiatives and perform appraisals. 7. Prepare donor/sponsor reports as per agreed formats and timelines.

8. Liaise with service providers, partners, sponsors, and government agencies.

9. Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and participate in audits.

10. Represent the organisation in external forums, advocacy campaigns, and awareness initiatives.

Remuneration: Will be commensurate with experience.
