Operations Manager

We are hiring a Deputy Manager – NVOCC Operations / Container Operations to manage end-to-end container logistics operations, coordinate import/export activities, oversee operational documentation, and ensure seamless container movement across ports, terminals, and inland locations. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in NVOCC operations, container logistics, and shipping processes. The position involves managing operational reporting, stakeholder coordination, compliance activities, system updates, cost analysis, and process improvements to ensure efficient container operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end NVOCC/COC operational activities for principals, partners, and customers.
• Coordinate landside operational requirements including gate-in activities, issuance of operational forms, and container handling processes.
• Monitor and track container movements from discharge through loading stages, ensuring timely execution of operational activities.
• Liaise with Inland Container Depots (ICDs), terminals, shipping lines, and relevant authorities for movement tracking and operational coordination.
• Handle approvals related to container shifting, TP containers, operational costing, and other container movement requirements.
• Prepare, maintain, and submit operational reports and performance updates within defined timelines.
• Maintain accurate operational records, statistics, and data for reporting, analysis, and management review.
• Ensure timely updates of in-house operational systems to support seamless documentation and operational workflows.
• Coordinate with internal departments including Sales, Finance, EQC, and Operations teams for effective service delivery.

Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Graduation is mandatory).
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in NVOCC Operations, Container Operations, Shipping, Logistics, or Freight Forwarding.
• Strong hands-on experience in import/export container operations and documentation.
• Working knowledge of SCMTR, ICEGATE, export documentation, and import documentation processes.
• Understanding of THC, VRC, CONCOR Tariff structures, and terminal rules and regulations.
