General description of role:

The Global Offer Management Team Lead / Manager is responsible for leading the colleagues who support the global offer management process while also serving as a hands-on contributor within the function. This working manager oversees day-to-day workload, quality, service delivery, issue resolution, and process consistency from offer acceptance through the employee's start date. The role partners closely with Talent Acquisition, HR, hiring managers, regional teams, and cross-functional partners to ensure offers, pre-hire requirements, candidate communications, background check activity, documentation, and system updates are completed accurately, timely, and in alignment with global standards, local requirements, and candidate experience expectations.

Job responsibilities:

The colleague is responsible for:

Team Leadership & Workload Management

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of Global Offer Management Specialists responsible for offer, pre-hire, onboarding readiness, and candidate support activities.
  • Manage daily workload distribution, priorities, service levels, coverage, and escalations to ensure timely and accurate completion of offer management activities.
  • Serve as a working manager by personally managing a portfolio of offers, complex cases, or priority requests while also overseeing team performance and delivery.
  • Provide guidance, training, feedback, and day-to-day direction to team members to support consistency, quality, and professional growth.
  • Monitor team capacity, identify risks or bottlenecks, and recommend staffing, coverage, or process adjustments as needed.

End-to-End Offer Process Oversight

  • Oversee the global offer lifecycle from offer acceptance through start date, ensuring required steps are completed accurately and on time.
  • Ensure offer documentation, contracts, addenda, pre-hire requirements, background checks, work authorization, references, and market-specific requirements are managed in accordance with approved guidance.
  • Handle advanced, sensitive, or complex offer cases and partner with appropriate collaborators to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Track offer-related achievements, start-date readiness, service-level expectations, and risk areas across the team's assigned workload.
  • Maintain working knowledge of regional variations, policy requirements, and process dependencies to guide the team and support consistent execution.

Candidate Experience & Communication

  • Ensure the team provides candidates with timely, accurate, and professional communication after offer acceptance and throughout pre-employment activities.
  • Support team members in responding to candidate questions related to documentation, pre-hire requirements, start dates, onboarding tasks, and logistics.
  • Reinforce communication standards that align with the company's employer brand, candidate experience expectations, and regional requirements.
  • Step in directly when candidate issues require additional judgment, managing partner concerns, or senior-level communication.

Stakeholder Partnership & Escalation Management

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, hiring managers, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Legal, Data Privacy, and regional HR teams to support accurate and timely offer execution.
  • Serve as a primary blocking issue point for collaborators on offer management, pre-hire readiness, documentation, background check, and onboarding-related matters.
  • Provide regular status updates, identify risks, and recommend actions to resolve delays or process gaps.
  • Build effective relationships with regional and cross-functional partners to support consistent global delivery while recognizing local market needs.

Compliance, Quality & Data Integrity

  • Ensure the team follows established offer and pre-hire processes in alignment with local labor requirements, internal policies, data privacy standards, and audit expectations.
  • Review work outputs, case handling, documentation, and system updates to support quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Maintain and reinforce standards for accurate candidate and offer data across ATS, HRIS, background screening platforms, digital signature tools, and related systems.
  • Identify recurring errors, compliance risks, or data quality issues and implement corrective actions, training, or process improvements.

Process Improvement, Reporting & Systems

  • Lead or contribute to process improvement initiatives, workflow standardization, system enhancement activities, pilots, and documentation updates related to offer management and onboarding.
  • Analyze team metrics and operational data, including offer volume, completion status, start-date readiness, aging items, customer concerns, and issue trends.
  • Use reporting insights to find opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and enhance candidate and collaborator experience.
  • Act as a subject matter authority for offer management systems and tools, sharing feedback on usability, data quality, workflow gaps, and enhancement opportunities.

Skills/competencies required:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, Talent Acquisition operations, onboarding, recruiting coordination, offer management, or a similar operational role.
  • Prior experience leading, coaching, training, or providing day-to-day direction to a team, project group, or operational workstream.
  • Experience overseeing processes with tight schedules involving multiple collaborators, regions, or time zones .
  • Solid attention to detail with the ability to balance hands-on execution, team oversight, blocking issues, and challenging priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with candidates, colleagues, and senior collaborators.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information and handle sensitive candidate and employee data with discretion.
  • Proficiency with HR systems, applicant tracking systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred

  • Experience leading a global or multinational HR operations, Talent Acquisition operations, onboarding, or offer management team.
  • Familiarity with employment documentation, background screening, onboarding, and pre-hire requirements across different markets.
  • Experience supporting process standardization, continuous improvement, reporting, quality assurance, or HR technology enhancement initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
