Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day functioning of our bakery. The role requires strong operational control, team management, and the ability to ensure smooth execution across all aspects of the business—from production to delivery and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations Management

  • Oversee daily bakery operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards
  • Coordinate between kitchen, sales, and delivery teams
  • Ensure timely production and product availability

2. Staff Hiring & Management

  • Recruit, train, and supervise bakery staff (kitchen + front-end)
  • Manage staff schedules, attendance, and performance
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment

3. Compensation & Payroll Coordination

  • Assist in managing staff salaries, incentives, and attendance records
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing

4. Delivery Management

  • Oversee order dispatch and delivery logistics
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers
  • Coordinate with delivery partners and optimize routes

5. Expense Management

  • Track daily operational expenses and maintain records
  • Monitor costs related to raw materials, utilities, and staffing
  • Identify areas for cost optimization

6. Promotional & Event Execution

  • Execute promotional campaigns and in-store events
  • Coordinate with marketing teams for tactical implementation
  • Ensure smooth execution of seasonal offers and activations

7. Premises & Facility Management

  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of the bakery
  • Oversee equipment upkeep and repairs
  • Maintain compliance with safety and hygiene standards

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of experience in operations (preferably in bakery/F&B/retail)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Good understanding of inventory, logistics, and cost control
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel / POS systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
