1. Logistics & Freight Optimization
- Ability to control and reduce freight cost as a % of sales/shipment value
- Strong experience in route planning and logistics efficiency improvement
- Capability to negotiate transport rates and manage vendor contracts
- Focus on reducing packaging cost per order without compromising safety
- Exposure to packaging innovation and cost-saving ideas
2. Warehouse Financial & Cost Management
- Should be able to manage warehouse P&L
- Monitor all warehouse costs and ensure operations run within budget
3. Manpower & Capability Development
- Experience in manpower planning across multiple warehouses
- Ability to hire and negotiate with manpower contractors
- Focus on training warehouse teams to improve efficiency and reduce errors
4. Reporting & MIS Governance
- Strong focus on accurate and timely MIS reporting
- Ability to handle and review reconciliation reports (inventory, operations, etc.)
- Candidate should be data-driven and comfortable with dashboards and reports
5. Strategic Coordination & Governance
- Act as a bridge between Head Office and warehouses
- Ensure smooth coordination and quick issue resolution
- Conduct regular warehouse visits and audits
- Identify operational gaps and drive process improvements
6. Inventory Control & Warehouse Governance
- Ensure physical inventory matches system inventory
- Maintain discipline on cycle counts and stock accuracy
- Take action on:
- Near-expiry stock
- Slow-moving / non-moving inventory
- Unsellable stock (liquidation support)
7. Warehouse Expansion & Infrastructure
- Experience in setting up new warehouses from scratch
- Strong understanding of warehouse layout and space utilization
- Ability to do capacity planning and monthly forecasting
8. Mandatory Experience Requirements
- Must have handled multiple warehouses (multi-location operations)
- Strong experience in B2B + B2C operations for e-commerce and D2C business models
- Experience in e-commerce / 3PL / supply chain environment preferred
- Strong exposure to OMS/WMS systems and MIS reporting
- Excel skills should be strong (advanced level preferred)
- Being tech-driven and comfortable with systems/automation is an added advantage
- Experience in vendor management, contractor negotiation, and cost control
- Should be process-driven, trustworthy, and long-term oriented
