- Build strong relationships with students and act as a trusted guide throughout their academic journey.
- Support students in making informed academic and career-related decisions.
- Drive student motivation, accountability, and retention through continuous engagement initiatives.
- Gather and analyze student feedback to improve support systems and enhance the overall student experience.
2. Problem Solving & Ownership
- Take end-to-end ownership of student-related concerns and escalations.
- Demonstrate a strong bias for action in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions without requiring constant direction.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with faculty, academic operations, and leadership teams to improve student outcomes.
- Continuously improve processes, workflows, and engagement mechanisms to create a more effective learning environment.
- Introduce innovative initiatives that improve student participation, learning consistency, and overall progression metrics.
3. Data Analysis & Academic Tracking
- Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and reports to monitor student performance and engagement trends.
- Use tools such as Google Sheets and Excel to analyze attendance, assessments, behavioral indicators, and progression metrics.
- Translate data insights into actionable intervention plans for students and academic stakeholders.
- Present key insights and recommendations to faculty and academic leadership teams to drive informed decision-making.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
Experience - 4-6 years of experience in student success, academic operations, mentorship, counseling, learning & development, or other student-facing roles.
Skills - Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel for data tracking, reporting, and analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance empathy with accountability while managing student relationships.
Attributes - Student-first mindset with strong emotional intelligence.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and execution-focused.
- Comfortable handling escalations and difficult conversations with maturity and professionalism.
- Data-driven thinker who can combine insights with human judgment.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Why Join NST - Opportunity to directly impact the lives and careers of students.
