About the Role
We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team in India (Pune.) The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing one or more areas of our operations function, which may include client onboarding, transaction processing, and Customer Service. All functional areas are expected to be managed in line with the risk, control, and compliance standards of a regulated financial services company.

This is an ideal role for a hands-on manager with a strong operations background in financial services, who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee and manage day-to-day operations across assigned function(s), ensuring processes are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.
· Review and process client documentation, transaction records, or operational workflows in line with internal policies.
· Coordinate with internal teams - including business development, compliance, technology, and customer service - to ensure seamless end-to-end process execution.
· Identify, assess, and escalate operational risks and issues in a timely manner.
· Maintain accurate records and MIS, and produce regular reporting for management.
· Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive efficiency enhancements within the team.
· Support the onboarding, training, and development of operations staff.
The Ideal Candidate
· 10 years of relevant experience in operations, preferably within financial services, banking, fintech, or a BPO serving financial institutions
· Good understanding of financial regulations, KYC/AML requirements, and/or international trade practices
· Professional qualification (e.g. MBA from a reputed institution, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is a plus
· Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with operations or payments platforms is an advantage
· Meticulous, analytical, and resourceful, with a strong eye for detail
· Able to multi-task, prioritise effectively, and roll up their sleeves when needed
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams
· A proactive team player with demonstrated leadership capability
