Job Summary

As Operations Manager, you will lead retail business strategies across multiple outlets, driving operational excellence, sustainable growth, and consistent customer experience. You will oversee area and outlet managers, optimize performance, and foster a culture of service and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee retail operations across multiple areas/outlets to achieve revenue, profitability, and efficiency targets
  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals and long-term growth plans
  • Monitor key business performance indicators and provide strategic recommendations with corrective action plans
  • Drive process improvements, cost efficiencies, and productivity enhancements while maintaining high service standards
  • Translate senior management directives into actionable outcomes for the operations team
  • Enhance brand presence, customer loyalty, and repeat patronage through innovative operational practices
  • Lead, coach, and develop Area and Outlet Managers to build a strong leadership pipeline
  • Implement performance management, talent development, and structured training programs to uplift operational capabilities
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and external trade environment changes to provide business growth insights
  • Negotiate and maintain relationships with landlords, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive F&B operations experience, including at least 3 years in multi-area or regional leadership managing 10 or more outlets
  • Proven ability to drive operational excellence, sales growth, and cost management in a reputable F&B chain
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or Management from a recognized institution
  • Strong business acumen with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • High proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations
  • Inspirational leadership with strong interpersonal skills to influence and motivate teams across multiple levels
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate resilience and adaptability, and willingness to travel frequently as required
