Hiring: Operations Manager | Morocco Location
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager – for coordination with mines and to manage end-to-end logistics operations, specifically handling material movement from mines to port.
Location: Morocco Experience: 10+ Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify the mineral source and the right mine with the ability for regular supplies of good quality cargo.
- Coordinate with mines for quality, readiness of mineral cargo and optimize dispatch of cargo.
- Maintain Cordial relationship with mines owners and mine managers at the same time to ensure that timely movement of purchased cargo is made of right quality.
- Oversee logistics operations including transportation from mines to port.
- Ensure timely availability of vehicles and smooth dispatch planning.
- Coordinate with QC agencies to ensure proper sampling / Analysis / Feedbacks.
- Build and maintain strong rapport with transporters and vendors.
- Monitor material movement and ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with port officials and agents for plot allotment, cargo storage and vessel loading operations, and to ensure smooth completion of formalities and sailing
- Update / Coordinate with Head office on regular basis.
- Optimize logistics cost and improve operational efficiency
- Handle transportation documentation and compliance.
- Coordinate with internal teams and port authorities.
- Resolve operational challenges proactively.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in cargo sourcing / logistics / operations
- Strong experience in bulk material sourcing / movement / mining logistics preferred
- Good network and relationship with mine owner/ transporters
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree (Logistics / Supply Chain / Engineering / Management preferred)
