Experience

• 8–15 years of experience in US Healthcare Medical Coding / RCM.
• 3–5 years of experience managing medical coding teams and accounts.
• Experience in client management and large-scale operations.
• Experience managing multiple coding specialties/processes is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US Healthcare RCM and medical coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end operations for assigned medical coding accounts.
• Manage Coding Teams, Team Leaders, Quality Analysts and support functions.
• Ensure achievement of productivity, quality, accuracy, TAT and SLA targets.
• Monitor account performance and identify operational risks.
• Plan staffing, capacity and workload based on business volumes.
• Ensure effective allocation of work across teams and processes.
• Drive process adherence, operational discipline and timely escalations.
• Conduct regular operations and performance reviews.
• Prepare and present MIS, KPI dashboards, SLA, quality, productivity, volume and staffing reports.
• Understand client requirements and translate them into operational plans.
• Handle client escalations, perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Drive process improvement and operational efficiency.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS.
• Knowledge of NCCI and payer-specific coding guidelines.
• Understanding of coding compliance and audit requirements.
• Experience with EHR, coding/billing systems, encoder and productivity tracking tools.
• Medical Coding certification such as CPC, CCS, CIC, CCA or equivalent is preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Degree/Diploma in Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy or Healthcare Management is an added advantage.

Salary: Will be matched according to previous salary and experience
