We are seeking an experienced and highly accountable Operations Manager – Freight Brokerage to lead and manage our day-to-day logistics operations at our Gurgaon, Haryana office.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of end-to-end freight brokerage operations and will be responsible for overseeing execution, managing teams, and ensuring smooth and profitable movement of freight.

This role requires a candidate who can take independent ownership of operations and manage the business with minimal supervision.

• Oversee end-to-end freight operations including load booking, carrier sourcing, dispatch, tracking, and delivery.
• Ensure timely coverage of loads while maintaining strong margins and service quality.
• Build and manage relationships with carriers to ensure reliable capacity and competitive pricing.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and support pricing strategies with the sales team.
• Manage and lead the operations team including dispatchers and track & trace staff.
• Monitor shipments and proactively resolve issues such as delays, fall-offs, and service failures.
• Ensure proper documentation including rate confirmations, PODs, and billing coordination.
• Maintain high service levels through proactive communication with customers and internal teams.
• Track and report key operational metrics such as load coverage, margins, and on-time performance.
• Implement and improve operational processes and SOPs for efficiency and scalability.

• Proven experience in freight brokerage operations or a similar logistics role.
• Strong understanding of OTR (FTL/LTL), carrier sourcing, and US transportation market.
• Hands-on experience with load boards such as DAT and Truckstop.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in TMS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.

• Experience managing a team in a freight brokerage or 3PL environment.
• Strong carrier network and industry connections.
• Experience handling escalations and complex shipment scenarios.
• Knowledge of drayage and intermodal operations is an added advantage.
