About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to lead and optimize daily operations at JIITAK.
You will play a central role in process design, cross-departmental coordination, and operational strategy, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and quality across all functions. This is an opportunity to lead with purpose- driving operational excellence while integrating sustainability into business practices.
This role includes a three-month probation, with the potential for conversion to a permanent position based on performance evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process & Compliance
- Design, document, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across departments.
- Regularly review and update SOPs to align with evolving business needs.
- Train teams on SOPs and ensure compliance to minimize operational risk.
2. Sustainability & Governance
- Integrate sustainable practices into daily operationswaste reduction, energy efficiency, and resource optimization.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and maintain relevant certifications.
- Monitor sustainability KPIs and suggest areas for continuous improvement.
3. Administration & Vendor Management
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, facilities, and records management.
- Identify and manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations and implement improvements as needed.
4. Sales Operations Coordination
- Support the sales team by aligning operational processes with business objectives.
- Streamline sales workflows to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Ensure operational readiness to meet client expectations and sustain high retention rates.
5. Finance & Budgeting
- Develop and monitor operational budgets, ensuring financial alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate with the accounting team for accurate expense tracking, cost analysis, and forecasting.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or performance.
6. Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team to build a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Resolve conflicts effectively and promote open communication.
- Identify and address skill gaps through targeted training and professional development initiatives.
7. Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and partners.
- Proactively identify new stakeholders to support business expansion and operational efficiency.
- Monitor stakeholder satisfaction and address feedback promptly to enhance engagement.
