Hyve Sports Pvt. Ltd is looking for Operations Manager who can join our team immediately in our office at Kinfra Apparel Park, Trivandrum. The role involves overseeing daily production, ensuring garments are produced efficiently, on time, and within quality standards. Optimize production schedules, managing inventory, supervising staff, controlling production costs, and coordinating with departments like Sales, design and procurement to meet customer orders.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production schedules (cutting, sewing, finishing) to meet shipment deadlines.
- Ensure production targets are met as per timelines.
- Coordinate with sales and merchandising teams for order execution.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the garment production process.
- Maintain high quality standards at all production stages to minimize defects and meet client standards.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and buyer specifications.
- Work closely with QA/QC teams to reduce defects and rework.
- Optimize resource utilization (manpower, materials , machinery)
- Lead and supervise production teams, supervisors and line managers
- Coordinate with sourcing for materials (fabrics, trims) and manage inventory levels.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, labour laws and safety standards.
- Lead and train production teams, fostering a productive work environment and ensuring safety compliance.
- Prepare daily/weekly production reports.
- Track KPIs like efficiency, rejection rate, and on-time delivery.
- Monitor and control operational budgets to ensure cost-effective production.
- Liaise with clients regarding order status, fit trials, and delivery.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and industrial engineering concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Experience in any manufacturing industry
- 5+ years of experience as an operations manager.
