Role Description

We are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to lead and manage end-to-end operations across HIL and HIL Foods. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily business operations while actively supporting sales coordination, hiring and people management, employee performance, and cross-team execution. This role requires someone who can balance strategic thinking with on-ground execution and act as a strong support system for leadership and teams.

You will work closely with founders, sales, coaching, kitchen, and support teams to ensure smooth operations, high customer satisfaction, and consistent growth across both verticals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and streamline daily operations for both HIL and HIL Foods
  • Support and coordinate sales operations, lead tracking, follow-ups, and conversion processes
  • Manage hiring, onboarding, training, and performance tracking of employees and interns
  • Handle employee coordination, scheduling, conflict resolution, and team productivity
  • Ensure smooth collaboration between fitness, nutrition, food operations, and support teams
  • Implement and optimize processes, SOPs, and workflows for efficiency and scalability
  • Monitor operational metrics, budgets, and resource utilization
  • Identify gaps, solve operational challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Act as a central point of communication between leadership and teams

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong leadership, people management, and organizational skills
  • Experience in operations management, sales support, and team handling
  • Ability to multitask and manage operations across multiple business units
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and execution capabilities
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Proficiency with operational tools, CRMs, spreadsheets, and productivity software
  • Prior experience in health, fitness, food, or service-based industries is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Operations, or a related field preferred
  • Willingness to work on-site and take ownership of outcomes
