Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and driven Operations Manager – Collections to lead and scale Snapmint's collections operations. This role will manage early, mid, and late delinquency buckets while ensuring high recovery efficiency, regulatory compliance, and superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end collections operations across DPD buckets (0–30, 31–60, 60+)

• Drive recovery performance including Cure Rate, Roll Rate, Resolution TAT, and Cost of Collections

• Build and monitor tele-calling, field, and digital collections strategies

• Design bucket-wise treatment strategies to optimize recoveries

• Establish SOPs, workflows, and control mechanisms for collections operations

• Analyze delinquency trends, leakage points, and portfolio risks

• Maintain MIS, dashboards, and performance reports for leadership reviews

• Manage external collection agencies and vendors across regions

• Conduct agency performance reviews, audits, and compliance checks

• Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, Fair Practices Code, and Snapmint's ethical collections standards

• Handle escalations, disputes, regulatory complaints, and legal coordination

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of unsecured lending and fintech collections

• Experience across early, mid, and late-stage collections

• Expertise in agency and vendor management

• Data-driven, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of RBI digital lending and collections compliance

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Ability to balance recovery goals with positive customer experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred

• 3+ years of collections operations experience in NBFCs, Fintechs, or Banks

• Prior exposure to BNPL, consumer loans, or digital lending preferred
