Operations Manager

BUILT is a performance footwear and activewear brand launching direct-to-consumer via shopbuilt.com. We're hiring our first dedicated operations person to own the entire supply chain from warehouse to customer doorstep. End-to-end 3PL management across two warehouses (Mumbai + Delhi NCR) inward QC, inventory accuracy, dispatch SLAs, and regular physical audits

RTO and COD management daily tracking, pin code blacklisting, pre-dispatch verification workflows, and reverse logistics for returned/refused shipments

Packaging SOP design and enforce the unboxing experience for every product category; conduct spot-check audits at the warehouse

Returns processing QC on returned goods, restock vs. write-off decisions, and feeding sizing/quality insights back to the product team

Process building create the operations playbook from zero: SOPs, escalation matrices, reporting cadences, and vendor review rhythms

Cost optimization track per-order logistics costs, negotiate 3PL and courier rates, and reduce RTO-driven losses

24 years in supply chain or operations at a D2C brand, e-commerce company, or 3PL provider

Hands-on warehouse experience you've done QC, managed inventory, and dealt with courier partners directly

Familiarity with OMS/WMS platforms (Unicommerce, Uniware, Increff, or similar)

Comfortable with COD dynamics and RTO management in Indian e-commerce

Data-literate can pull reports, build trackers, and make decisions from numbers, not gut feel

Willing to be on the ground at warehouses regularly this is not a remote role

Experience in footwear or apparel supply chain

Have worked with Indian 3PLs

Built ops processes from scratch at an early-stage startup

Understanding of GST compliance, e-way bills, and import documentation
